I have VEMS WB controler and with it, I got a 2mm EGT probe. On idle, had 220-250 deg. celsius readings and on WOT (full boost) I got readings no more than 750-800 deg. celsius, which seems fine to me. However, my car is Volvo S40 T4 and has turbo charger. According to VEMS, a 6mm EGT probe is much safer for turbo applications, so I bought one. After swapping probes, I'm having funny readings, idle about 500 deg. celsious and WOT over 1000 deg. celsius

. Do i need EGT probe calibration and how to do it?
