Helle,

I have Audi A4 1.8T, engine code AEB with electric throttle body.

When the VEMS was installed everithing was ok except ETC.
Now ETC is normal, but when i start the car 0-70 degree AFR is ca.0,70, and starting the car is very heavy. Over 70 degree everithing is ok.
All enrichments are 0%. :S :S

NOTORIOUS VR

In the log the PW is quite high... seemingly because you have an insane amount of acceleration enrichment set during warm up (413% mult and 234 % of req. fuel @ -40) then 10% under the RPM enrichment... it seems when the ETC is moving to keep the idle up (also set very, very high 2200 RPM for some reason), and the ETC TPS is around 10.5 %, your IAC threshold is only set to 1%!

The Accel enrichment is adding 3.45-3.4ms until the idle settles to an acceptable level where then it only adds 1 ms.

So in short... fix your ETC/Idle issues... that will take care of the problems.

Thx a lot.... :D

Did changes and resiults are good.
Needs a little bit more work to be good. :D

Mr.E

Hello,

My cold starts are better, but still lambda is 0,75-0,8.
ETC problem is almost solved and now it's working mutch better.

When I start the car, AFR is rich ( 0,75-0,8 ), when coolant temp exceeds 74 deg. everithing is OK.
What happens when coolant exceeds 74 dec ????
