The quickest charging coils that I've come across are the ones found on the Mitsubishi EVO4 with a usable spark at 2.3 to 2.5ms

The Driftworks coil packs are there to overcome the problems with the Coil on plugs.

You're not looking to replace the COPs just to drive them differently...

I have had good success with 034 Motorsport coils on the TVR.  I'm using a dwell of 2.5ms.  No idea what dwell the Subaru coils like to run at, although I do have a pile of them sat in the corner...

That one is perfect, if you're buying it get a second one and I'll buy it off you - at that price it would be daft to not use one on my SR20DE.

Getting a suitable connector for the coils might be tricky though.

The connector on that looks like the one used on the Ford EDIS coil pack, your local scrapy would then be a good place for a connector.

Yeah its an EDIS coilpack, and the newer Fords will have the connector... I just want a clean new one if I can get it!

Ben,

I dunno if your ECU has the ignition drivers in it, PM me with the serial number and what have you and I'll see what I can find out about it.
