Multiple logs and VE Analyzer
« on: August 01, 2015, 09:56:46 am »
Hello All.

I would like to propose the following for having VE analyzer review multiple logs.

1. You select a map that will be used as a reference point for VE adjustments
2. You can select multiple logs, even if their maps where different as long as injector dead time settings are the same. Of course it has to be the same injectors used and engine configuration, or if in the log the cell values are being changed.
3. The VE Analyzer reviews the logs and stores a pulsewidth value for each cell that should have been the right opening time.
4. Then it takes those pulsewidth values and calculates back the VE value based on the reference map.

It should be able to do this even if Y axis in the VE table has changed or X axis values have changed,

Also as a feature addition is showing proposed air temp correction for the MAT/TPS table. Alot of cars suffer from engine bay heatsoak
which doesn´t always translate properly into air temp changes due to air temp sensor location.

Thoughts?

I love this idea of helping with MAT/MAP table. Here is Las Vegas with our ambient temps in winter around 0C and in the summer around 47C we experience a lot more tuning time getting our intake air temp map calibrated properly on top of the ve table.  Heat soak of our engine bays here is insane so anything we can get to help would be great.
