Hello

I have Vems Round EGT and WB gauge with controller. (https://shop.vems.hu/catalog/round-wbo2-gauge-p-101.html)
The ECU is V3.6 PnP for Audi 2.2T.
As i have understand from reading wiki and other tutorials then Round should be connected to the same cable as the laptop goes on ECU.
I can connect to Round with laptop and installed newer firmwire. If i press the buttun on round it is seen through VemsTune also this. But when i connect the Round to ECU it is like it has not been connected at all.
I just want the round to show me info from ecu, nothing more.
I uploaded round and ecu config files for you. Can please some one take a look? https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1KAjjI1MN-JfmdmMG05ZWJxUWJUREhFaGRGazlidHBHV01nM1NNSUE5U29wdVFYcnJQdEk&usp=sharing

Cheers

Hello Rst,

Did you review the steps on: http://vems.hu/vt/help/main/aim.html ?

If you want to connect the round to your v3 (after the initial setup of both) make sure you use a null-modem cable (cable with 2 male dsub-9 plugs but with swapped tx and rx on both sides, so dsub-9#1 pin 2 connects to dsub-9#2 pin 3, dsub-9#1 pin 3 connects to dsub-9#2 pin 2 and dsub-9#1 pin 5 connects to dsub-9#2 pin 5).

Best regards, Dave

If you are using this adapter that should also work (so no need to buy a different cable) as long as it is a true null-modem adapter, not straight (a quick check with DVM in beep mode will tell you more).

This should be then the correct scheme?

Yes correct scheme; In our application only pin 2,3 and 5 are used so no need to check the rest.
