Knock setup
« on: January 03, 2015, 11:13:39 am »
Hi all

I''m currently trying to setup the first knocksetup on a subaru
There is a really good desciption on how to set it up , but the problem i have is that i run into knock very fast , meaning it shows knock on the cyl 4 this is were the knocksensor is placed on top of ,
Even thourgh i Can balance out the levels with gain pretty easy when No load and 2000-2500rpm ad discribed and the level is around 60-70

Then on load it Will show peaks higher than the rest and it Will go higher the 700 in number

Do i just lower the gain more on that cylinder ?
OR how do you guys suggest to tune it

Thanks
Skassa

Yes i know ,
It is also level when there is No load on the engine ,
But cyl 4 still spikes higher when there is load
