Yes, I found this too, rather anoying, but, I was only trying the Windows 8 pc as that had onboard Bluetooth as I was having bluetooth disconnects with the USB adapter, so i'm happy to use an old windows XP PC. Windows 7 seems to work well.
Same problem on Windows10, any fix?

They pop up to make you AWARE.If the pop up boxes are difficult to manage on newer versions of windows, a simple pop-up dialog box like when you have pending share files or updates would be fine as well.But it looks like VEMSTune development has also stalled
