Hi all,

I have an upcoming project and wanted to use again Vems for it.
Engine is a 3L V6 PRV even fire.
The original crank patern is 66 teeth with 3times 2times a missing teeth.
So that makes 60 teeth left but tooth 20 is of double lenght.
Differently said: there are 19 tooth and then a double length tooth followed by a double length space,
This setup is know as the Renix setup used on all Renault engines in the 80-90 years.
I also want to use an extra cam sync for sequentional ignition and fuel.
Now my question.
How to setup the primary trigger in VT for this?
All the settings I tried so far in VT gives me faults.

Any help is welcome.

I did renault 1.8 engine with similar TW(but 4 cilinders), but i used distributor for spark. I can send you a config.

And on that tw withl double lenght teeth, you need to change polarity of sensor(vr). Also is good to put pull up(to 5v) resistor around 5-10kohm.

Hi MWfire,

That would be great!
A config file will clarify it all.
You  can send it to : [email protected]

Many thanks in advance!
