5V on pin 9 RS232 for bluetooth power.
« on: April 06, 2014, 09:19:18 pm »
Hello,

I like to have a +5v on PIN 9 of the vems RS232 connector to power the VEMS Bluetooth adapter.

But when i connect it to my laptop will it give problems? I don't know if its okay to put 5 volts on pin 9 of the rs232 connector on my PC.

Anyone tried it?

Hello, Thanks for your replay. I already know pin 9 is a input "RI" for the PC. But will it hurt my PC if i put 5V on it?
