Audi I5 divbyN
« on: November 12, 2013, 10:20:38 am »
Hi I am now using, divbyN N=27

2 day ago I tried to change to DivbyN 9 from Vemstune Configlet and the car was constantly dying.

Than I tried to change back to DivbyN 27 from configlet. Same problem occured.

Than I loaded and old config, and everything was back to normal.

I examined configlet changes to my setup.

Th difference was config11 value.

Here is the comparison log

FILE COMPARISON REPORT -  12 Kasım 2013 Salı

FILE 1: db27configletv3.3_n002005-A-2013.11.12-11.40.51.vemscfg
FILE 2: v3.3_n002005-A-2013.11.12-10.08.16.vemscfg
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FILE 1: NUMBER OF RECORDS: 608
FILE 2: NUMBER OF RECORDS: 608

LINE FOR LINE COMPARE - ITEMS IN FILE 1 DIFF FROM FILE 2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FILE 1 Line 1 - # CurrentTime: 2013-11-12 11:41:05
FILE 2 Line 1 - # CurrentTime: 2013-11-12 10:08:18

FILE 1 Line 72 - config11=41
FILE 2 Line 72 - config11=43

So with config11=43 my car is ok, if it changes to 41 it dies.

I checked vemstune config11  looks like the cylinder number, so I thing this should be correct in the configlet.

Is the configlet buggy or is there a problem in my setup?

That bit is for config11 &2 is for injector dead time strategy(formula or table).

That value determine 7 other values beside dead time strategy. It is and it is not bug.  IMHO Using configlets it is not possible to avoid such problem. So we have to be careful when using them.

So do you think I should enter values manually?
