analog output problem [stuck at 2.5 volts] -- SOLVED

hi!
I used my o2 wideband sensor for a few weeks, with a custom voltage output (vout_config=4).
it worked well, but now after the engine was rebuilt I got a problem:

the analog output shows 2,5 V EVERYTIME! so its not possible to log the real lambda signal.
at first I thought my ecu input (haltech platinum pro plug in R32/R33) is faulty.
I connected it to another input port, but the problem stayed...
I also checked the calibration in megatune.
the vems gauge shows the right value, so the sensor should be ok...

I hope someone can help me   :(

thanks a lot!

Have you checked the analog output ground for errors? (pin9 if i recall correctly)

With the engine running? If the sensor/gauge is so lean it's measuring % O2 rather than lambda, there's a value in the curve for that. Maybe you have it set to 2.5V? In any case, take a look at the values in your custom voltages to see if there's a 2.5V in there.

thanks for your answer!
it’s tuned to lambda 0.8 under load and ~1.0 at idle and no load.
and the gauge on the vems controller shows the right valuea (i hope),
and not a constant value like the analog output...
so I really don’t know what to do next.

Hello.

You can still adjust the narrowband output voltage curve. You´ll need to look at that in vemstune.
Also for a old style narrow band you´ll have to make a custom curve going from 0-1v

hi!
what do you mean? Do I have to set up (rewire) the original connections on this plug, pin 9?
or what`s the default wiring?
I believe I never changed the wiring there, but it recently worked before the rebiuld...

thanks, best regards

problem SOLVED!!
connection of the analog output signal&ground wire was faulty!!!!    :D

thanks
