ignition outputs

im having trouble getting spark from my vag cops///how do i figure out if my ecu has all logic level ouput or if some have igbts? i think theyre all logic level but im not exactly sure

also if anyone can help me...ive talked to a few people and im still not sure why i dont have spark, i have the vag coils wired as such
pin1 12v supply from fuel pump relay
pin2 engine ground
pin3 signal from ecu...? logic level? tried using the stepper outputs with 100ohm resistors too still nothing
pin4 ecu ground

not sure what im doin wrong if anyone can chime in it would be appreciated

That pinout is wrong. You have your grounds backwards.

pin1:+12V
pin2=ECU Common GND
pin3=EC18/4,10,5,11 (one for each coil)
pin4=GND at the head

Unless you specify differently, you have all IGBT outputs for the main ignition outputs. You'll have to use stepper outputs for these. It works great that way.

And here's how to configure it (In this example EC18 pin 4 goes to the first cyl in the firing order, 10 goes to the second cyl in firing order, 5 is the third and 11 is the fourth).

thanks that helps alot!!  i just checked my grounds with a meter and seems like theyre both grounding to the motor...

im bringing the car to efiexpress in new hampshire tomorrow, im going to have them go through the wiring and get it going for me...
