VW 1.8t passive throttle idle control

Anyone have experience setting up a VW throttle body and wiring the motor to control the idle?
Wired Pin1 12vswitched and pin2 inj ch5 output.
I was reading a vems wiki and saw something about using a in4007 diode?

Do I need to setup some kind of tps switch? If so how..

The tb has a motor an idle switch, idle tps, regular tps

Any input is appreciated
