well done Gunni! as always. What kind of fuel are you running?

Gunni, good job bro. your setup is close to my setup except I have top mount.
I noticed you have good torque in between 3500-5500 rpm, my torque at that rpm is lower. Can you share me your tables please?

I've got 637torque and 581 hp on 20 psi.

gunni

The torque is this way because I timed the intake advanced and the 56mm compressor.

VemsedE36

Gunni, how many degrees you advanced the intake timing?

gunni

It was at least 12° crank angle, that and the intake cam on the exhaust side adjusted to regular exhaust timing gives more overlap then just advancing the intake side cam 12°

Are your 1700 cc injectors the ones that can handle MTBE and hot fuel without loosing flow ?

gunni

I have not had any problems so far with them, done at least 3000miles so far, short drives and long drives.

mattias

Hot fuel may never be a problem with one in-tank fuel pump. Most setups that use these injectors make more power and have more pumps and have a catch/surge tank for the fuel. This is what I've had problems with.

The MTBE problem is a constant one and I haven't really seen it happen over time.

When I have time I'll check the Bosch numbers, there is not much information but around where I live everyone avoids "1700 cc" Bosch fuel injectors.
