Nissan Station 180 on SR20DET Holset HX40
« on: December 18, 2012, 08:37:25 am »
Hi all,

As I said before, I will be posting more of the projects that was made, here we have Nissan 180 with SR20DET that runs smooth with drift ability!  8)

Location: Amman-Jordan.
Car: Nissan 180 Station.
Engine: Stock SR20DET with Cosworth head gasket and ARP studs (with Extra Colors).
Boost: 1Bar
Turbo: Holset HX40 with 12cm Turbin Housing (The car starts to build boost on 4700RPM, but with controlling boost from VEMS, we managet to start boosting on 2600RPM)
Injectors: High impedance 550cc with 044 Bosch fuel pump / AEM Water injection Kit.
ECU: VEMS 3.6 / V3Harness / Firmware: 1.1.96
Sensors and VEMS additional: MAT / EGT / O2 / VEMS Display / Boost controller controlled by VEMS.
Trigger System: Trigger wheel from Rob.
Motorsport options: Launch Control, ALS will be activated by chock wire and switch to select ALS with open throttle settings.

This car should look much more cooler, but the owner funding now goes to the BMW e30 with 20B rotary engine that will be used strictly for drift events ,and for sure it will be running on VEMS.

Here some photos of the car (Please note that the car was little dirt and missing some interior/exterior when these photos made, it's much better when washed and clean  ;D)

They changed the rear suspension by fabricating BMW e30 rear end  :-*
