Upgrade 81 to 96 problems

Can anyone think why an upgrade to 96 from a perfectly working 81 crap out? Namely, it seems to have trouble picking up the trigger. I disabled camsync and it works more or less but seems to dump more fuel than needed.

I also got ID injectors with the deadtime tables, tried to use them in 96. The config verify says that the deadtimes are too high... not sure how it knows. But the cranking PW ends up at 7.5ms (while the working 81 cranking PW is 5.7). Has anyone successfully used the deadtime table config for injectors, especially with the values from Injector Dynamics?

Tried 1.2, seems to work fine... *shrugs*

Also 1.1.95 works fine. For coil type triggers sync with 1.1.96 was problematic.

I saw the issue reports from you guys but it just sounded like it took a little longer than usual to sync up but otherwise worked fine. It was completely out to lunch for me. I simply upgraded to 1.2, uploaded my .96 config and it fired right up... (faster than ever I might add)

So much for me sticking to "RELEASED" firmwares... I know that bugs can slip through but this seems like a vaguely big one that should be trivial to catch.

This makes me laugh.  I recall spending many nights in May trying to figure out why the hell I couldn't get Cam-Sync working up to snuff...  ???

I followed suite last night and solved a bunch of issues; cam-sync and tacho being the major ones (also seems as though cam-sync solves inconsistency with fuel table and iat's).

Thanks for the thread BigD.

(I have ~500 miles of boost now! ;D)
