after many weeks dicking about trying to get a stat housing,
we decided to say F@@K IT,
and made our own , this way we have it the way we need it,
And the new ecu fixing is nearly finished,
First take a sheet of Ally, and workout what you want to fix onto it,
Then after a bit of cutting drilling and fettling, work out where you are going to mount it all,
after a while:
with Caprisports help,
things are going together fast,
ecu bracket spacers bolted through the floor and carpet trimmed to go over the spacers.
Starting of the rewire of the ecu relays and fusebox,
Finished, now comes the wiring job from the fusebox and relays back to the ecu,
Also Caprisport made a start on the suspension upgrade:
Front end:
Old strut removed, and new coil over inserted, with 300lb springs,
The HUGE 315mm Caprisport front discs refitted.
Now the Brembo calipers are refitted,
Alloy spherical adjustable top mounts are also fitted,
And sat back down on all 4, we have decided it can go another inch lower on the front still,
Ecu all finished,
Knock sensor fitted (same on passengers side)
So next on the list, fit the exhaust,
this went together real sweet and didnt take long,
This is how the engine bay looks this evening when i left the car,
stage 3 4.6 high comp v8 fitted ready to go, (as long as i can get her to trigger)
just the power steering bottle to plumb in and engine bay finished, has fuel and pump runs with ecu ok, has oil and water.
