Didn't you suffer from prolonged cranking before sync?
I use 1.1.95 for 20VT because of that.

I mean cranking before any signs of successive ignition. For me 1.1.96 took too much empty revs.

i did notice this yes,but thought it was down to car not been used for a while...is the 1.1.95 better then(or rather, cure the sync issue??

any improvement i have now will surely be for the better as my map and previous firmware was 1.1.63..

do you use isv setup on your 20vt??
on 1.1.63 the rpm would not come down enough,so i removed the isv and used timing for idle

i can post my config if you can look?

Yes 1.1.95 starts faster for 20VT.

Yes idle valve is used with great results.

You can post. VT ->Help->sharing works nice.

Is it 20VT valve?
I corrected your file. You can find it as attachment to the report.

But diode must be connected in parallel with valve. Have you?
In addition correct your valve reference position table so that IAC integral stays negative all the idling.

Valve can be vented to atmosphere, but then you have to find DC where valve is fully closed (will be around 20% for 20VT valve) and set it up in at the bottom of Idle General window. Otherwise - boost leak.

ok all good..
i understand the boost leak issue if the valve is not fully closed
i do not know if the diode is in there..pnanassy(rip)did my set up so not sure...how can i check?multimeter..
getting new isv and will be off 20vt

i cannot understand the report as i do not recognise this format?do i have to convert this

Right side "attachments"  - your new file. http://vems.hu/vemstune/sharingcenter/reports.php?cmd=view&key=nM88ao

Without diode valve reacts in very narrow DC% range. Like 90% -closed - 95% fully opened.
With diode reaction is much smoother. Valve reacts all over DC% range.
