My wideband and egt gauge just arrived, but now I have a HUGH problem. There are no information about how to connect the wbo2 sensor...
Witch cabel goes where???

I'm amazed that you received the wideband in that state, I've never seen anything like that before.
Hold tight and I'll get the information you need - what's the serial number on that system? It will be on the 9pin serial plug.

But every cloud has silver lining :)

Before you put the pins in the plug, feed the cable through the bulkhead. I didn't have a hole big enough to let the plug pass through, so I routed mine outside and through the door seal so that I didn't have to take the plug off.

If yours is a more permanent installation, take your opportunity and feed it through now  :)

The only number i can find is on the 15 pin contact and its  1102 ok ???

1102 is the serial number - they must have changed the position of the number sticker now we're into 4 digits.

I've made enquiries and will get you the information as soon as I have it myself.

cant someone just go to the garage an check out the cables color.the contact is marked withe numbers
just 1 blue 2 black 3 yellow and so on.......please please  :-\

[email protected]

I have checked but found two wires of the same colour on the ones I have.

The colours I have are:
1 Black
2 Green
3 Blue
4 Brown
5 Brown (thinner wire)
6 Red

The other thing is that they reworked the wiring so that there is now only one fuse, so the wire colours may be diffferent :-[

The reason you havent had an answer yet is because the guys in Hungary have taken a week off on holiday.
This is the first time in four years that this has happened and unfortunately we've found a problem with this happening at the wrong time :(

All I can say is sorry, its a mess-up on our side, we'll get something sorted as soon as we can.  They should be back on thursay.

I also have one of these gauges that was delivered in the same state.
It has no connection details at all for the sensor , the wires on it are,
Red
Red
Blue
Black
Brown
Clear.
Serial number is 593 on the 9 pin connector.
i hope that you can help as i am trying to install it for a friend that bought it to use with a megasquirt that was bought from the same supplier.

Hi,

I got hold of the guys that are on vaccation and they helped me find this document: http://www.vems.hu/download/round/docs/Round_pins1.doc. It's the document that is printed and sent out with all new rounds that are shipped without the connector fitted. They come without the connector fitted to make the installation smoother.

I'm sure that Rob will incorporate this information in the quickstart guide soon.

I have checked that the document opens in Word and Wordpad, some minor formatting is lost in wordpad (which come as standard in all Windows installations).
