fit better injectors in audi ABZ I/M?

I have my audi ABZ running on the stock injectors which have big, stupid air jackets and a lower gasket that is larger diamter than normal.

This means that the injector holes in the intake manifold are bigger.

What have people done to install bigger/better injectors and eliminate the air jackets without too much machining, etc?
Audi ABZ 4.2 V8 in 1993 90 quattro
TTV 60-2 flywheel and cam sync
firmware: 1.2.20
