Hi,
Today I have test my" JAYCAR knock detector" on the bench.
It work !!
Explanation:
I've download/installed a small software called Tone generator,I took the computer headphone out  and wired it in the knock detector input board.
Then I've set the "tonegen" on 2000 khz at midle gain and the knockdetector give me on the output about 2.5 continous volt.
When a put 5000 khz It give me 4.999 v ,at 6000khz 4.6...volt etc etc .
I think it's great, because we are on the 0-5v range.
So the output peak voltage is in the 5000 khz ballpark and drop significally passing 7000 khz.
The computer headphone output voltage is in millivolt like the Bosch knock detector real working condition.
Isn't what we need for working with" anytrim spark correction"?
Now my question is : what input(or pin) should I use on the EC18 Vems ecu?

I still waiting for official knock code. When I performed similar tests with white noise, frequency sweep trough all ranges, code worked good. Russian guys use knock code two years. And it works for them...

Regarding anytrim. If signal output above some level for sure means knock then it seems easy. But does it give reliable output not dependent from overall engine noise?? I do not believe, sorry.

Pin. You have to look at papers what you got together with unit. You need analogue input without pull-up resistor.
