megalogviewer
« on: July 23, 2011, 12:01:27 pm »
hello all,

Does anyone know if you purchase/register megalogviewer if you can use it on more than one computer with the same reg details?.

As i use a desktop & netbook to view the logs...so want to use it on two computers.....but dont really want to have to register it twice.

cheers

Why don´t you start using VEMStunes logger?

Also you should not have problems. I don´t even think there was a difference between a registered and non registered Megalogviewer

Have to say I don't get on with vemstune logger it isn't as nice to use as megalogviewer.

In answering the question I believe you should be able to register it on multiple computers turn auto update off though

I still use MLV. It is still much faster, with better graphics, extremely easy to navigate. And analyser results are reliable.
I use it on more than one PC with same registration.
Beta version has 3d graphs for whatever you want.

What is solved in VT logviewer during last 6 months?

yes i have used the log feature in vemstune....but i dont find it as well laid out as megalogviewer....

plus i find megalogviewer easy to understand & nagivigate, i dont mind paying the £15 for something that i know i will get the use out of.

the vemstune one takes ages to set up and seems to work really slowly to do anything....i have a fast enough pc and only a 3meg log file and just seems slow to react....

i know vemstune will get better, just need something easy for me to understand and learn whats going on in my engine.

I have to agree. On my Dell D430  (2GB RAM, 2x1.33Ghz DualCore) is log viewing in VT very very slow, almost unusable :(
Anyway LiveTune or Tune by statistic seems to work well already, as well as remap function on tables, so thanks for that :)
