Subaru trigger
« on: May 21, 2011, 11:35:37 pm »
Can anybody confirm Subaru trigger works without hw modifications? Still don't know is it 6+7 or 36-2-2-2, but will know on Monday. Impreza WRX STI '02.

Yap, it's 36-2-2-2. Been busy with some other car, and Impreza waited for a while. I made pnp frontplate like Skassa did, and did some wiring inside.. Which older firmware did you mentioned in PM, and what mods should be done to trigger to work with 1.1.92(3)? Maybe it could be done internally?

Yep it Can be done internal, the second trigger needs to be the avcs feedback sensor on the right bank, and the third trigger is the left avcs feedback sensor, you need to check if rhe feedback sensors are vr og Hall, as there is both kinds, depening on spec.
Then the newer is supposed to work, but i have not had the time to test it yet, but have a engine in the enginestand ready to test on,
But i have other impreza's to work on before , As the engine in the stand is my own, so that is down on the todo list :)

Tomorrow I'll check sensors type and consider using them... There isn't much time to do testing now, so I'll need to figure out trigger  that will work with older firmware (1.?.??). Thanks you very much!

all triggers are vr, so i'll need to use another lm1815 for third trigger...
