Can´t calibrate wideband sensor, reading goes up and down
« on: February 05, 2011, 10:14:24 pm »
Hellow

I tried to calibrate bosch wideband sensor on VEMS v3.6 motronic. The problem is that reading does not stop on specific number, it goes constantly up and down. It should be 20.9, but my best was to get it from 20.4 to 21.5 or something like that.
Is that normal? or should I chek something (had no time today to try another sensor, but I can do that tomorrow).

That's alright, unless your calibration value is way off. Normally 150-220. What's yours?

So, it's off then and no good.

Is the sensor hot after a few minutes of leaving the calibration on?

It could simply be a fluke, but values should be in the range 150-220 to hit 20.9% (+/- 0.5).
