Driving ae86 tach
« on: February 02, 2011, 08:47:02 am »
Hi folks, been using VEMS reasonably successfully for about a year on my daily driven ae86 with ae111 20V engine.  I'm using the stock CAS with vems actually, not aftermarket crank wheel.

Anyways, I haven't had a tachometer this whole time.  The best I can do is to get the tach to bounce when hooked up to the VEMS.

What do you guys do to get the tach going?  I'm using wasted spark and am wired up directly to the tach output on the vems.

Thanks!  Will be sure to post solution here for future reference.
