i had the same DC and PID as i have on the VEMS controlled boost(without anytrim)

and i had the anytrim set values from 0-5V anything from 0-110(initially)

tried all of the above values, and on 110 it gave me 230kpa

tried 160(anytrim) and it gave me 240-260kpa

tried 200 and i got 270-280kpa.

DC was from 85-77%

on the log, DC was going to 100% then being reduced as rpms came along.

by the way, just to make sure, i used a stiffer spring today without any better results. I only had to reduce a bit the solenoid DC to avoid spikes.

i still consistenly get a slow boost increase up to 4000rpm, as if there is something there blocking things, and then all boost is released after 4000rpm

AVP, I just tried anytrim on bench. In any case boosttrim multiplicative change boost target as it should! And it is purpose of this trimming.

What your logs show regarding boost target?

boost target was always set to 300kpa from 3200rpm to redline. That was never reached

so in other words, your above statement is right, that boostrim mul should multiply the boost target to the anytrim value to get the final value? is it only multiplying the boost target?
does that mean that i should keep the boost refDC to a steady state? such as 50%? or something

If anytrim is configured properly, it should multiply boost target. If you still have 300KPa, then search for misconfiguration somewhere.
Sadly, but DC trimming seems not implemented. So manual-only setup is not possible.
