Injector data needed (Delphi 17113744, 998cc/min)
« on: May 27, 2007, 03:23:07 pm »
Hello,

I googled a lot but still could't find required specs into this injector settings section:

If someone has these settings, I would more than happy to get'em :).

Edit: I have TS diode installed, so Inj_opentime should be 0 and Inj_ramup_battfac 4080 as in picture?

If you have an oscilloscope you'll be able to model these injectors correctly.
You can try a rule of thumb method:

Set Inj effective rampup to 512

Do some fuel mapping at low loads and review the gradient of the fuel map long the rev range.  If the gradient rises with RPM you need to increase the number, if it drops decrease it - try 128 steps.

Also with the TS diode you'll need to change the PWM settings:
Injpwm DC(%) to 100
Injpwm peak time (ms) to 25.5
You can't PWM the injector, if you have low impedence injectors you'll need to use some power resistors.  We tend to use 6R8 ohm 50W resistors inline with each injector control line.

Thanks for answer. I don't have an oscilloscope :(.

Here is more info about my project: http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FJapso

I have those 6R8 50W resistors in injector lines. Project is quite ready to start, if someone would kindly look msq file I added to memberspage and tell are the settings even near right.

You've pasted your msq, thats not all that easy to read.

If you paste the contents of the config.txt and tables.txt files that you get when you run download-config.bat its then simple to read your setup then.

Looks okay so far - what if any, bits are you concerned about?

Few things comes to my mind..injector outputs: I have 1, 4, 8, 16 now and other slots are empty, are this right?
Injector outputs: are those in first post right?

I have Bosch dual solenoid IAC, not sure are those settings right either:

Control type: PWM/stepper or On/off? I don't have a clue which one shoild be with dual solenoid :(.
Idle solenoid channel?
Idle solenoid channel#?

I defenetly forgot something but will ask more if needed :).

Thanks

Normally I'd go for 1, 2, 4, 8 but theres nothing wrong with the setup you have.

Start off with On/Off as thats the simplest, to get it working, once its working add complexity ;)
The channel and channel# settings depend on what pins you've connected the solenoid to.
