1.1.81, what are these new settings, why now trigger errors?
« on: September 12, 2010, 03:01:35 am »
So I re-tried upgrading to 81 (from 80, which has been working perfect: http://vimeo.com/14309100) and now my engine does start. But now my CEL is on all the time over trigger errors, even though the engine runs fine. I recorded a trigger log but I'm not sure how to make sense of it.

I see three new settings in the secondary trigger settings. The Event at bad trigger position was blank for some reason, I set it to Just show (so did it just not show trigger errors before?). Sectrig min/maximum angle are both set to 359. What are these for and what should they be?

Can you guys please have a look, tell me if I really have trigger errors and where they are?

Thanks!

Hi.

The new firmware lets you see if its the primary trigger or secondary trigger thats failing and whats wrong with it(too many teeth or too few, and bad position for secondary trigger)

If you set your minimum angle to 0 and maximum angle to 359, then your secondary trigger can occour whenever - so try that to start with.
