adding boost/rpm inputs
« on: May 25, 2007, 09:02:00 pm »
on the wideband gauge for extra datalogging inputs.
i know what pins i need to wire boost/map and rpm into but are the wires just held in place in the multi plug by glue as thats what it looks like the others are held in with?

cheers

They're soldered in, there is some judicious use of the hot glue gun, but it peels off pretty easily.

I am going to write a load more documentation on the use of these inputs and the way they're to be wired.
Theres a resistor needed on the analog input 1k->10k depending on the voltage in.
And theres some ideas that we'll need to use pin 11 connected to ground, and possibly a resistor to pull the voltage up or down depending on application... what RPM source are you using mate?
