Default gauge display
« on: October 03, 2010, 01:56:39 pm »
I'm wanting to have my gauge disply AFR and EGT as it's startup display, then "analogue in" when the button is pressed.  However, it doesn't matter what I do in Vems tune, the analogue in is always the screen that comes on when the key is turned  ???

Are you using the new firmware version?  Theres some stuff about which "slot" shows which function.

As far as I know it the last version without the AIM support  :-\ (downloaded it about a month or so ago). I tried alternating the 2 display i wanted over the 8 slots (afr-egt, afr-ana, afr-egt......ect) But no matter which way round i had them it would always start on the afr-ana display.  I even just tried allocation only the 1st 2 slots and leaving the others blank, but that didn't work either :-(  It's not the end of the world if I have to push a button to get EGT, but i would have liked for it to just do it automatically

I had a whole load of issues with the display, I found that the slot I thought I was starting in was completely wrong! As theres no actual way of knowing...

With the firmware version i've got it actually shows you what slot you're on.  It seems to have a mind of it's own because it'll start on any slot it wants (only the anal in though lol)

Problem solved.  Adjusted the anal in button threshold and the display now powers up on the same slot everytime.
