Where is a reliable/affordable place to buy cable and software?
Is the software available free anywhere online?
If so where can I buy a suitable cable?

I am a BMw n00b and have come here to ask engine management people I trust :D

I bought a VagCom cable and software from ebay, it was about 9.99GBP
