Hello
I have problem with crank trigger in my Citroen Berlingo Mi16
Board ver. 3.3
When I plug the VR sensor and spin crank, trigger have errors.
I use shielded cable, connect GND and GND to accu and have disconnected all other dev from VEMS that there was no unnecessary noise
Watch VR signal on oscilloscope and is clear
When I test it 60-2 rectangular signal (where all tooth have equal lenght, only the missing tooth is a long break) everything is fine in full range revs.
When I test it, or saw a sinusoidal signal 60-2 errors pop up.
I made a new analysis of the trigger tool in VemsTune and you will see that when a signal from the sensor or the last signal generator sine wave is shifted. This follows from the principle of LM1815 which generates a signal when passing through zero and is zero when going missing tooth is proportionately later.
I changed the value of resistor R181 in the range 0-180 kohm and the C30 since 0-3 nF. Where is the error?
The following graphs from the analysis..
