Ignition Problem With 1.8T
« on: June 25, 2010, 01:25:32 pm »
dear friends;

I have an Audi now with 4 wired coil 1.8T APY engine, I decided to make conversion harness for this car.
And plugged a vems which removen from AGU coded engine (3 wired Coil and with ICM delete).

Audi has an APY engine which have Electronic Throttle Body and 4 wired Cop coils.

I have removed the electronic throttle body and turned the throttle same as AGU engines.
Conversion harness looking great, RPM, IAT, CLT, etc. everything is working.

But 4 wired coils not working. How can i made it work. I have see the Engine control relay, 12v of coils supply by it. Activated it. But still no spark ignition.
Can you help me about this issue,

What must i change on settings?

Can you send me a wiring diagram if anyone use vems with 1.8T which have new type (me7) ecu.

Thanks so much.

On vems, I am using pins EC36-34, 10, 24 and 36 for the ignition.

Secondary trigger is looking disable on settings.

What must i do to active cam sensor?
