hello all,

finally my new 4.6 rover v8 in a westfield is road legal.....

gonna be doing some road miles to run the engine in.

few things i have still to understand.

what is the best location for the map sensor connection....presently i have it connected to the back of the plenum chamber, well after the throttle.

Is before or after the throttle best in my case?

cheers

It's always after the throttle, in the intake.

thanks...

another question is answered.....more are bound to follow...

done 25miles....just to make sure nothing falls off....comes loose....

fuelling is good at 70mph.....but very lumpy on light throttle and idle.

so plenty to work on...

going to try for about 100 mile round trip tomorrow....

pulled a few plugs and look good....and bone dry...
