KnockMonitor-KS-4 + vems

Hi all
ist possible to connect ks-4 knock monitor to vems input and configure ignition retard action when knock occur ?

At the moment this is not possible.

why? it doesent work???

Because the ecu hasn´t been configured to accept a 5v signal that can control ignition timing.
I feel it would be time better invested to get the already there knock control system working well.

what signal must be on vems input to work/start retard action ?
i think is no problem to convert 0-5v to impuls signal with modulated PWM, but firmware must be prepared to work with this.

The unit accepts the signal straight from the knock sensor.
