Overboost fuel cut and engine shutdown

Hello all,
I have a 2.5 bar map sensor on my vems. During the cold weather, i have some boost spikes due to the electronic boost controller setup (220kpa). The overboost fuel cut is set to 249kpa.
I experienced engine shutdown on the highway 4th gear, at peak torque. I needed to close and open switch again in order to start the engine.
I can change the rate of the valve open, so it less likely to occur again, of couse., but is this the expected behavior of the fuel cut? To shut down the engine until i switch off and on again?
I pulled to a stop and then restarted the engine.
Thanks

Ovrboost protection return fuel as boost drops below threshold. You experience some other problem. Datalog first.

I wasn't data logging, unfortunately.
The strange thing is that i needed to restart the ECU in order to start the engine.
Are you familiar with such a case, from your experience?
We ran at least 30 runs on the dyno and it didn't happen.

I can try to reproduce this, of course, but its a bit dangerous and i will have to do it at night, with less traffic.

My guess: trigger signal fooled by ignition noise or something like that.
