Im trying to get a hall sensor setup on my VEMS 3.5 board
« on: March 31, 2010, 11:34:05 am »
I have all necessary sensors wired up and giving signals visible in vemstune. But so far Im not having any luck with an output from the Hall sensor on my crankshaft wheel.

My board is a version 3.5 serial number 2295. Looking at the documentation, it seems that most are setup at the factory as VR input. I can't get any of the pictures and schematics to make sense with my board. Is there something I need to do with jumpers, or soldering to make the Hall sensor work?

Thanks
-Ken

Thanks, that will help. I'll have another stab at it tonight.

Thanks. The documentation helped there. My board was set up for Hall Primary already. I tweaked a couple settings in the primary trigger page, and turned on the advanced filter, and cranked. I got an rpm signal. So I'm getting closer now.

I have a few other really strange bugs to sort out. I'll start new threads.
