Dwell for GM Coil packs from Opel Astra G

Hello, 

I'm using wasted coil packs from a newer Daewoo in the US.  I was surprised to find that they are a GM product.  Anyhow, dwell information is non-existent for Daewoos, and we don't get Opels here.

Anyone have any info on this coil pack?


I have the dwell set to 3.5ms right now, but I'm afraid to go further.

If it fires on 3.5ms you're fine.
If anything you should experiment with reducing the dwell time.

Just as an update, this apparently is a coil pack also used on late 90's (approx) Opel Astras with the 16V engine.  This same engine was used in Daewoo's in the US at least.  It's been working well for me, I have reduced dwell to constat 3.2ms and have been running it for a few months.  Will update if anything changes.
