Error in Windows when trying to open Megatune

All,

I am trying to open Megatune and continue to get an error in windows that just says "megatune efi tuning has encountered a problem and must close".  It will not open at all.  PC has windows XP.

Anyone help with this??

What version are you trying to open?

Maybe try re installing that version?

If you are starting with a fresh install you may be better off using VEMSTune

This is usually because you have the AIM dash output via the serial port on the ECU enabled. 

If you connect the VEMS to the laptop, load MT and then power up the ECU it should work and you can disable AIM.  It should all be fine then.
